Summit at Snoqualmie - Summit West, Washington, USA

Quick Overview:

When We Visited: First Time in 2005, then regularly since Jan 2023

Our Top Tips:

• Snoqualmie are mostly North Facing, pass exit 51 and suddenly climate change to have snow instead of rains often.
• Dodge Chair has little to no line and can get to variety of terrains.
• 當 Power Day 又沒有一早就到的話，通常車子在一下 52 號出口時就在塞了，這時若看到已經有車子停在交流道出口處，除非是 11:30 左右週末可能會有來上早上課的人離開，不然就趕快迴轉停在交流道那邊再走過去雪場，再從 West 的 Wild Side Lift 可以接 I90 Crossover 到 Summit Central，這樣絕對比塞車去 Central 停車省很多時間。
• 停車最好停在馬路上，過了小停車場後的左手邊，這樣一出來就可以開回到高速公路，不用被擠在停車場。
• Wild Side Chair：
  • Pump the roller at the small roller at the right, then speed up and immediately go right to do a Wall Hit.
  • At the bottom there are usually ungroomed small kickers for the last Lift Polls to jump.
• Wild Side Chair to Mountaineer Area：
• Powder Day, turn left off high traverse to the trees and then go down to I90 Crossover Path, then go down to Mountaineer Area between Central and West. Used to be owned privately and has a tow rope. Dan from Ski Master showed me. Skier's left for powder in trees and connect back to West on skier's left.
• Pacific Crest and skier's left to free riders and connect to top of Julie's have good powder. Further left and go through an opening on the rope can be at an area local called Trash Can and has really good powder if snowed and less tracks.
• Bowl between Pacific Crest and Julie's Chair on powder day.
• 人多時去 Dodge Chair 或 Wild Side 的 Single。
• Park at the second parking lot entrance so can park right by the Little Thunder Lift and can walk to Skimaster Ski and Snowboard School.
• Storage and water machine are in the bottom floor of Timberwolf Bar & Grill.
• Outdoor for All Event in March, can make donation and demo many different snowboards over a weekend day in March.

What was Unforgettable:

• 這是我第一次滑同一個小區域滑了這麼多次的經驗，2023 年上 Skimaster 課程時又有教練 Dan 帶我去找好玩的地方，真的是把這區玩得很熟很好玩。

What Sucked:

• 雪場的雪道偏短

Quick Overview:

When We Visited: Since 4/2/2023

Our Top Tips:

• Small Park next to Holiday Chair is good warm up place but chair is crowded.
• Triple 60 chair can bring you up to top and has black runs down.
• Storage can be rented in the Rental Shop.
• Water Machine is in the main dining area.
• 人多時去 Triple Sixty 的 Skier's Right 的 Single。
• Easy Street / Powder Pigs lift is base of Powder Pigs lodge. When 10:30AM and 1:30 over Jan and Feb the line will be long here and Silver Fir as there are many students.
• Side pow at Outback on skier's right is pretty good.
• Central express has to go through Golden Nugget (Blue) and traverse to go to Silver Fir Lodge, can't go through Outback (blue) or will need to go down through black runs.
• Central Park area, lower part has a steep black moguls to avoid with kids.
• In March there are Silver Fir Demo Night on weekdays like Wed 3-9PM, go on the second weekend and check on Snoqualmie Instagram account for live update to see if the brands I like are there.

What was Unforgettable:

• SR did the park so well with good box run.

What Sucked:

• The most crowd in Snoqualmie especially on Central Express.

Quick Overview:

When We Visited: Since 2/8/2025

Our Top Tips:

• Best place for trees and glades with fresh snow.
• Squirrel Forest at the back bowl is nice.
• Each side of Rampart Lift and further skier's left has many good tree runs although on the short side.
• There is a crossover from Chickamin back to Rampart Lift that is usually untracked after new snow.
• Latest to open and earliest to close.
• Less parking so less people, no Ski school here and only Nordic Center. Open only from Fri to Sun so less people to ride out powder.
• Supposedly the best food.
• Blowdown from the Rampart Lift is an ungroomed black trail to avoid with kids.
• PacWest Banked Slalom in late March weekend from the top of the Rampart Lift.

What was Unforgettable:

• 我第一次帶小安去，不小心走道黑線Mogul，後來我把她的板子插在旁邊我背她滑下去

What Sucked:

• Crossover connection from Central to East won't open unless enough snow and is very flat and need to walk up at the entrance of this crossover.
